Mazal Tov!

At the Shabbat Shacharit Service on 17 August, we will be celebrating the 90th Birthday of Emeritus Rabbi Dr John Levi AC DD PhD. Rabbi Levi was the first Australian ordained rabbi.  He returned to Australia, worked at TBI and was inducted as Senior Rabbi of TBI on 26 August 1960. He was named Rabbi Emeritus  in 1997 following 37 years of distinguished leadership, and we thank him immensely for everything he has done and continues to do for TBI. Join us for a special service and kiddush to mark this momentous occasion.
