Join us to hear guest speakers Dr N Samuel MD PhD, Emergency and Trauma Medicine Specialist and Maj Gen (RET’D) Professor Jeffrey V Rosenfeld AC OBE.

Dr Samuel will share his experiences deployed as a trauma team leader for over 300 days since October 7 2023.

About Dr N Samuel: Trauma and emergency medicine specialist at Schneider Children’s Medical Center (SCMC) in Israel. He serves as a trauma and medevac team leader. In 2022, Dr Samuel specialised in major trauma at the Alfred Trauma Service and Alfred National Trauma Research Institute in Melbourne. Since October 7th 2023, he has been deployed for over 300 days in his Team Leader role.

Prof Rosenfeld AC OBE will share his insights about the importance of Australia-Israel Collaboration in frontline civilian and military Trauma Care.

About Maj Gen (RET’D) Professor Jeffrey V Rosenfeld AC OBE: Internationally recognised neurosurgeon. He is Emeritus Professor of Surgery, Monash University; and the former Head of Neurosurgery at The Alfred. He was Surgeon General, Australian Defence Force (ADF)-Reserves 2009-2011. He served on eight operations in Rwanda, East Timor, Bougainville, Solomon Islands and Iraq.
